Why an Orthodontist in Horn Lake? Orthodontist vs. Dentist
An orthodontist is a dentist, but a dentist is not an orthodontist. Not every dentist is qualified to be an orthodontist, but every orthodontist starts as a dentist. Like all orthodontists, Dr. Willians and Dr. Hamman had to continue her formal education for 2 or 3 additional years before receiving the license and certification. Dr. Willians and Dr. Hamman have spent years studying nothing but how and why to move teeth, as have all orthodontists. Their education includes what to do, how to plan, and how to execute the treatment plan.
Invisalign in Horn Lake
Rather than brackets and bands, the Horn Lake Invisalign system uses a series of clear, removable aligners to move the teeth into alignment gradually. This option is popular with both patients and orthodontists and is the top alternative to traditional braces.
Invisalign aligners are made of a comfortable plastic material and designed to fit snugly over the patient’s teeth. The trays are virtually invisible, and you’ll switch them every 1-2 weeks for the next series to keep your teeth moving in the right direction! You must wear your aligners 20-22 hours per day throughout treatment so they can do their job. If you neglect to wear their aligners as directed, it can hurt your results and add time to the orthodontic process.
Braces in Horn Lake
Traditional braces are one of the most efficient orthodontic tools we have. Braces in Horn Lake are an excellent choice for correcting many tooth issues, from simple to complex. Braces don’t require some more complicated technology or expensive equipment that newer treatments can. This makes Horn Lake braces a cost-effective orthodontic option for patients on a budget. Also, because they sometimes work faster at closing gaps and aligning teeth than other options might, overall treatment time can be shorter.
Testimonials from Horn Lake orthodontist patients
Williams and Hamman Orthodontics have such a fantastic team. I have referred to the office about a year and a half ago. They have been patient and more than accommodating. My children love this team (son is in braces, daughter is preparing for them). Great family atmosphere, and they are so knowledgeable about what they do. Lorie is my girl, and Brittney is excellent with my daughter. Keep the workup, guys. - Keosha
After contemplating Invisalign for some time, I decided just to go in and see what my options were. The staff was very welcoming and friendly, and the process was so easy that I committed right then and there. After 12 months, I have completed my treatment. Every visit along the way was pleasant and such a great experience. I highly recommend WHO for anyone in North MS or the surrounding area. - Ashley
